The college is a great place to pursue your education
Overall 5
This is a good school with great advisors and if you get a part-time job at UPS then you can get it about half price.
Overall 4.9
Great People, Great Classrooms, and Great Experience in general! Don't regret my experience here at all and would come back if I had to decide again.

I transferred to UMSL and I love it!!!

Needs a little bit more improvement on the food meals

UMSL has been great for me. I transferred from a community college, but in my last year of getting my Bachelors Degree. The professor's are amazing. They have always been willing to work with me if I have had personal/school issues, and I have become more active in campus life than I ever thought I would. I do not regret my decision to go here.

Wonderful schools, great professors, and cool students.

You have to make what you want of it. So many people say it's just a commuter school but that's because they leave right after class. There are a plethora of ways to get involved with the school both socially and academically. I've been here since my freshman year right and have met so many people that have changed my life. AND its affordable.
Overall 4.4
As a transfer student, UMSL was SO welcoming and flexible. The campus is lovely, and they are doing major repairs on the roads/parking lots, buildings, and upkeep. The professors are so understanding, and Bel-Nor is a cute neighborhood. As long as you use good judgement, like any other University, you're completely safe. I am so glad I go here!

Love it at UMSL!!

Overall 1.8
Not a great place to be a commuter. Main complaint is that even if you're in a club (which I am) it's hard to find true peers. Not many options among fellow majors either. Thinking I would have been better off at art school (though much more purse-poor).
Overall 1.9
Very much a commuter school - good if you want to get in, get your degree and get out, not a good school if you want the full "college experience." Dorms used to be good but are now infested with mold, clubs are decent but sparse, food is revolting, most professors either cold and distant adjuncts or professors who are only there to do research.

Umsl is an okay place, I guess
Overall 2
I would have hoped the budget cuts would have helped several departments "clean house," but they seem to insist on keeping a few "horrible" professors on campus.
Overall 2
I was treated like a number. Overall the education was great, but support services were of a failing grade. I had parking tickets on my account for vehicles I did not own, was dropped from a class I was actively attending then told it was my problem to acquire signatures to re-enroll, and was accused of cheating on a test that simply didn't happen.
