Persecution: Muhammad and his followers faced severe persecution from the Quraysh tribe and other Meccan leaders who felt threatened by his message.

The Hijrah: In 622 AD, Muhammad and his followers migrated to the city of Medina. This event, known as the Hijrah, marks the beginning of the Islamic calendar.

Establishment of the Islamic State: In Medina, Muhammad established an Islamic state based on the laws revealed in the Quran and the guidance of the Prophet. He served as the political and spiritual leader of this state.
